Q: Why would someone prefer interacting with a bot rather than a mobile or web application?
What’s unique about Replicon’s intelligent assistant is that it eliminates the need for users to have to interact with mobile or web apps at all. What we very commonly hear with mobile forms or even existing timesheets is that there are a number of metrics that users have to typically interact with, indicating what jobs, activities, passcodes, etc the time is associated with. Rather than users having to spend time filling those in, they can have the intelligent assistant take care of all those listings for them. Moreover, the bot has some predictive learning and artificial intelligence behind it is, so over time, as we continue to use the intelligent assistant, it will determine patterns in our usage and can start offering suggestions on how to complete and approve the timesheets. So, it’s really a much easier way to be able to get time into the system without having to interact with any elements, timesheets, or mobile forms. You can have that assistant do all the heavy lifting for you.
Q: How does your system work with existing time clocks that we have in our warehouse?
What we ideally suggest is using our intelligent time clock, CloudClock, to gain the most benefits of our latest features. This platform features everything that we were describing in terms of the facial recognition capabilities, QR codes, scanning, and even a unique code identification. However, we can integrate with some of the existing clocks that may already be in use. We have done this in the past. For example, provided that those clocks that you’re using have some kind of API, Replicon can use its bi-directional web services API to import time or punch entries from third-party clocks into our platform. So, not only can we leverage your existing investment on clocks, but we can also start incorporating our own clocks as well. What some of our customers have done is they’ve leveraged some of their existing third-party clocks and and also introduced our clocks. We can run them in parallel, so there’s no disruption to your existing infrastructure. Replicon’s Time Intelligent platform really allows us to interoperate with a number of different devices.
