Production Calendar 2019
Working Time
In the production calendar, the norm of working time for months, quarters and 2019 as a whole in working days (hours) is given. It is calculated on a 5-day and 6-day working week calendar, based on an 8, 7 and 6 hours working day with 40 hours and 36 hours working week.
In 2019, the norm of working time is:
- At 40-hour work week:
Five days – 1968 hours (246 days * 8.00 hours);
Six days – 1986 hours (248 days * 7.00 hours + 50 days * 5.00 hours).
- At 36-hour work week:
Five days – 1771.2 hours (246 days * 7.20 hours);
Six days – 1788 hours (298 days * 6.00 hours).
- The average monthly number of working days for 2019 is:
With a five-day working week – 20.50 days;
With a six-day working week – 24.83 days.
The average monthly number of calendar days for 2019 is 29.25 (excluding holidays, established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
Public Holidays 2019
Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan are non-working days. When a holiday and a holiday coincide, the day off is the next working day after the holiday. Holidays celebrated in the Republic of Kazakhstan:
- National holiday: Independence Day – December 16 – 17;
- State holidays: New Year – January 1-2;
- International Women’s Day – March 8;
- Nauryz – March 21-23;
- The holiday of the unity of the people of Kazakhstan – May 1;
- Defender of the Fatherland Day – May 7;
- Victory Day – May 9;
- Capital Day – July 6;
- Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan – August 30;
- Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – December 1.
In this connection, in drawing up the balance of working time in 2019, taking into account the norms of the Law, holidays that coincide with weekends (Saturday, Sunday) are postponed to the next working day:
- At 5 days:
From March 23 to March 25;
From July 6 to July 8;
From December 1 to December 2.

The first day of Kurban-ayt celebrated on the Muslim calendar, January 7 – Orthodox Christmas are days off. In 2019, the first day of Kurban Ait is on August 11.
